March 30, 1928 - December 29, 2019
Minnie's journey came to a close peacefully in Sechelt B,C, following a lengthy illness.
Minnie was predeceased by her husband and fishing buddy Eric.
Survived by her daughters Diane , Joanne, Debbie and son John, grandchildren Bartley, Travis, Kylee, Andi, Dayna, Ali and step grandson Ryan, great grandchildren, Jackson, Emery, Ainsley and great step granddaughter Olivia.
Minnie simply loved people and adopted so many along the way. She treated them all as if they were her own. Minnie was energetic and rarely stood still. She had a zest for life and enjoyed curling, fishing, quilting, gardening and painting. She attended fitness classes into her eighties.
Most of all Minnie cherished her family, she was a fun and loving Mom and Grandma.
She was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff at Shorncliffe care home, and prior to that by daughter Joanne and care giver Liezel.
In lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A celebration or life will be held this summer. Messages of love can be sent to her daughter Diane at pittsdi@hotmail.com and will be forwarded to family and friends.
