Bella Bella Asset Holdings, the holder of Non-Replaceable Forest License A95263, and Dean Channel Forest Products Ltd., the holder of Non-Replaceable Forest License A96670, have prepared a draft Forest Stewardship Plan (FSP). The purpose of the draft FSP is to replace the current FSP, which expires March 8, 2024.
The draft FSP is a landscape-level plan identifying results and strategies to meet objectives under the Great Bear Rainforest Order, Forest and Range Practices Act, and other applicable regulations, including objectives for First Nations forest and cultural values, aquatic habitat, biodiversity, wildlife, and more.
The draft FSP covers Forest Development Unit 1 (FDU 1). FDU 1 is in the North Island-Central Coast Natural Resource District, Coast Mountain Natural Resource District and Nadina Natural Resource District.

The FSP is available for review and comment until April 21, 2024. Following the review and comment period the FSP will be submitted for approval. All comments received will be considered and included in the final submission.
