Verdict to be delivered December 15 for three on trial in Anahim murders

The fates of Christian Craciun, Andrew Jongbloets, and Serena Rhem (Mack) will be decided on December 15 at 10am.

The fates of Christian Craciun, Andrew Jongbloets, and Serena Rhem (Mack) will be decided in the B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster on December 15 at 10am.

Craciun, Jongbloets and Rhem were on trial from October 2 to November 9. The trio were charged with second degree murder in the deaths of 23-year-old Matthew Hennigar and 22-year-old Kalvin Andy in Anahim Lake on December 26, 2014.

Charges of manslaughter using a firearm against Bella Coola residents Lucille Mack and Steven Mecham were dropped last year.

Bryan “Everett” O’Reilly is charged with first degree murder in the slayings. O’Reilly’s trial will begin in January 2018.
