Kamloops man identified as Big White homicide victim

A body found at Big White, near Kelowna, on April 20, is confirmed to be that of missing Kamloops man Kelvin “Kelly” Jobson.

The Kamloops RCMP issued a missing person’s notice on April 10, after he was reported missing. Jobson was last seen April 6.

BC Coroners Service has now confirmed the body found on 201 Forest Service Road near Big White Ski Resort is that of the 47-year-old.

Jobson’s death is being investigated as a suspected homicide.

Kamloops RCMP are asking anyone who may have information related to Jobson’s death, noticed suspicious activity before or after his disappearance, or noticed suspicious behaviour in the area where the body was found to come forward.
